What Homeschool dreams are made of.

I just wanted to share this with you. This was one of those days that I believe makes a childhood special. Thegirls had a lovely day enjoying the beautiful warm weather which has been rather scarce lately.

They each packed a backpack of goodies (favourite toys) and a towel and went down and played a lot of the morning.  This is them having a rest (in the shade which I thought was a very sensible choice).

They played a card game which they made up and shared doing Braylee’s horse sticker book, engaged in some imaginative play – basically they had a ball. After lunch, they announced that they were doing ‘teamwork’ filling their little blow-up pool.

Braylee would fill the containers at the tap.

Maitlyn would carry them to the pool from the arranged drop-off/pick-up point.

Maitlyn would fill the pool.  They had it all worked out (till they got tired and asked for the hose). LOL.

These are the days that I just love, no fighting to speak of, just good friends having a great time and creating memories while learning along the way. Can’t imagine sitting in classroom on a day like this. As I sit at the computer I can hear the laughter of two little girls having fun in the pool right now.  A great Homeschooling day! I am a lucky Mum.
