GOALS FOR 2009.

Miss B (age 7)

LANGUAGE:

1. To read Early reader books (long vowels and diagraphs) competantly.

2. Recognise 100 sight words

3. Be able to write a short story (minimum mistakes)

4. Know what a noun and adjective is.

 

MATHS:

1. Perform addition/subtraction to 100.

2. Know 2x, 3x,  4x and 10x tables.

3. Achieve gold certificate in Mathletics.

 

OTHER:

1. Know and re-tell 5 more Bible stories and moral behind them.

2. Show sense of compassion for others.

Miss M (age 6)

LANGUAGE:

1. Write/recognise all aphabet sounds 
2. Know 50 sight words.
3. Able to read Level 1 and 2 Early Reader ‘Now I’m reading’ books
4. Write alphabet letters competantly/legibly
5. Know how to use fullstop, comma, question mark, exclamation & capital letters.
6. Write sentences of 4 or more words.

MATHS:

1. Perform addition and subtraction up to 30.
2. Know 2x,  10x  tables.
3. Count by 5s, 10s to 100 (2s to 30).
4. Recognise money values in order up to $100.

OTHER:

 1. Know and re-tell 5 Bible stories and the moral behind them.

MISS B (age 6) - 2008

ENGLISH

1. To read Early Learner books (short/vowels) unaided. ACHIEVED (August)
2. Recognise and read (50) Grade 1 sight words. (22 KNOWN – August)
3. Know how to use fullstop, comma, question mark, exclamation & capital letters. ACHIEVED (Dec)
4. Write sentences of 4 or more words. (ACHIEVED)
5. Write a simple poem, report, story, joke.  ACHIEVED (Dec)
6. Know what a noun and adjective is.

MATHS

1. Perform addition and subtraction up to 30. (ACHIEVED with counters/number lines – August)
2. Know 2x, 3x, 5x and 10x tables. (Learning 2x – September)
3. Count by 2s, 3s, 5s, 10s to 100 (3s to 30). (COUNTS BY 2′s, 5s and 10′s – September)
4. Recognise money values in order up tp $100. (ACHIEVED – June)

OTHER

1. Know states & capital cities of Australia. (KNOWS STATES – August)
2. Have sport and/or music activity. TAKEN UP PIANO (Dec)

4. Know & write full name, address & phone number. (Name & address - September)
5. Learn sight words of I, a, is, at, it, we, and, says, the, said (KNOWS 10 SIGHT WORDS – May) More known – Dec.
6. Tell sequence of a story and recall. (ACHIEVED – May)
7. Know to read from left to right, down a page. (ACHIEVED – May)

MATHS
