Artists in the making

After seeing a fellow GCM forum mama asking for Art ideas, I decided to challenge myself and my girls to see what new art works we could enjoy.  We went to the Library & borrowed some great books, looked on the internet, picked up a few mostly cheap supplies and then began with a Japanese art game which was more like a drawing program. http://www.ababasoft.com/how_to_draw/bit-101/020610.html

They seemed to really enjoy this and sat at it for an hour or so.  Then we moved onto some ideas suggested on another site http://www.kinderart.com/drawing/chglue.shtml.

It has HEAPS of great ideas, we started with the Drawing section and this geometric drawing activity using only 3 colours and went from there.
